We are seeking an experienced Analytics Specialist to join our team and drive data-driven decision-making within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in analytics and a deep understanding of financial services, including banking, portfolio management, credit card services, and buy-now-pay-later solutions.
Responsibilities
- Analyze complex datasets to identify trends and insights related to banking products and services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop analytical models that support business strategies in portfolio management and credit card offerings.
- Provide actionable insights to enhance buy-now-pay-later services and improve customer experiences.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of financial products, making recommendations for optimization.
- Develop and present analytical reports to stakeholders, translating data findings into strategic business decisions.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in the financial services sector.
- Understanding Business processes to build pertinent tracking of product performance
- Working with Business Teams and convert requirements to reports and analysis
- Independently analyze business performance and identify opportunities and areas of concern
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Data Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience in data analytics within the banking or financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of portfolio management principles, credit card services, and buy-now-pay-later models.
- Proficient in analytical tools and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R).
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with machine learning algorithms and predictive analytics in a financial context.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements affecting financial products and services.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, at least MS Excel) to effectively present insights.
