• Execute the assigned design and drafting activities following the instructions given by the Discipline Engineer in accordance with the quality system, job requirements, and work is completed to the agreed schedule.
• Responsible for the assigned drafting work and the establishment of design priorities.
• Plans assigned work effectively and obtains/provides information, coordinating with the discipline engineer, to complete the task on time.
• Prepares engineering drawings from rough sketches or from general engineering and design information according to established standards and procedures.
• Prepare the drawings and sketches as required by the discipline engineer (Piping/Pipeline, E&I, Telecom and Civil & Structural).
• Plans and carries out technical assignments of substantial variety and complexity.
• Capable of handling assignments which involve a variety of procedures and techniques.
• Undertakes technical assignments that are a significant part of an ongoing engineering program.
• Prepares the drawings, diagrams, and sketches, using MicroStation & AutoCAD software.
• Records observations, performs calculations and prepares reports on assignments.
• Designs and makes detail drawings from rough sketches.
• Identifies cost effective solutions to design problems.
• Assists in the preparation of bid evaluations.
• Generates bill of materials from drawings.
• Ensures quality in design, technical accuracy in the preparation of drawings.
• Carries out site visits / surveys and provides inputs to site visit reports.
Skills
• Diploma / Degree in Engineering.
• Expert in MicroStation & AutoCAD software.
