JOB PURPOSE:
Manage team of project engineers with multiple projects from concept development to closeout phase within controlled budget and defined schedule. Demonstrate strong engagement with stakeholders (other departments) and ensure solutions are devised to smoother project execution.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Manage projects from start to finish by setting deadlines or sub-deadlines ensuring the teams are meeting the deadlines.
- Monitor and Control the Project Portfolio to ensure smooth executives.
- Ensure Lessons Learnt have been reviewed and implemented at concept phase.
- Manage stakeholders and ensure they are informed and satisfied with the progress.
- Ensure CAPEX Business Plan is prepared and delivered timely on yearly basis in alignment with project prioritization.
- Attend to support the project team in the Technical Committee Meeting for development and implementation approvals.
- Attend GOP Meeting to update on key activities in alignment with Engineering and Construction team.
- Analyse schedule, cost, deliverables; provide corrective action where needed.
- Ensure Projects run on scheduled to achieve the target spending plan.
- Prepare Budget Approval, Board Paper and CBI Approvals.
Qualification:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
- PMP certificate preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum 12 years of experience working in project management (Refinery preferred).
