Qualification
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in environmental management / environmental science / environmental engineering.
- EMS Certification (ISO 14001:2015)
- A minimum of Seven years working experience in the environmental management field related to Environmental Management.
- Experience in Oil and Gas Field.
- Saudi Aramco experience (Previous Approval preferable).
Job description and responsibility.
- Ensure that the environmental requirements are established, implemented, and maintained across the site activities, specifically including:
- Identification and assessment of environmental aspects and impacts, including their review and updating.
- Setting up the Environmental objectives, targets, and environmental management programs.
- Supporting HSEM in reviewing and updating site environmental plans/procedures, when necessary.
- Monitor adherence to the Project environmental Policy & objectives, identifying potential non-compliances, and providing guidance for correctness and improvements.
- Environmental audits and inspections, and advice on remedial actions where necessary.
- Monitor and verify closeout of corrective actions arising from environmental audits.
- Implementation of Circular Economy principles by developing needed procedures, training, and task handling.
- Implementation of GHG reporting requirements and developing the emission reduction programs.
- Report periodically to the Project management on the performance of the project environmental management system.
- Environmental Coordinator shall directly report to Project HSE Manager.
- EC shall be responsible for undertaking the environmental tasks assigned by Project HSE Manager time to time.
