The Community Development and Career Coach plays a crucial role in guiding youth through the process of making informed decisions about their career paths and fostering positive change and growth within communities. They work closely with Youth, community groups, and government agencies to identify needs and implement initiatives aimed at enhancing the quality of life for youth.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Assess Learners’ skills, career goals, and interests through one-on-one interviews and questionnaires to provide tailored career guidance.

Support the development and implementation of media strategies to promote the company objectives and initiatives.

Collaborate with community members to spread awareness on company

Develop and implement community development plans and projects.

Facilitate meetings and workshops to engage stakeholders and gather input.

Coordinate resources and support services for community initiatives.

Bridge between community focal points and company

Provide support and guidance to community leaders, CBO’s and volunteers to support the project.

Support in the exploration of new communities and sectors to support within the company

Maintain accurate records and reports of community development activities.

Implement and oversee mentorship programs that pair learners with industry professionals to facilitate networking and career development.

Ability to evaluate learner’s level of commitment to training, career development and financial payments.

Ability to conduct outdoor awareness sessions in different communities.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

University Degree in any relevant fields.

+3 year experience

Special Factors/ Special Competencies

Previous experience in career coaching, community development, social work, or related fields is preferred.

Demonstrated understanding of Jordanian diverse community is needed.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse groups and individuals.

Strong coordination, communication, negotiation, and facilitation skills.
