In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of construction and pre-commissioning activities for our esteemed clients. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality control procedures and policies for construction and pre-commissioning phases
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
- Conduct inspections and audits to evaluate and verify the quality of construction activities and pre-commissioning processes
- Review and approve quality control documentation, including inspection reports, test plans, and quality records
- Collaborate with project teams to identify areas for improvement in construction and pre-commissioning processes and implement effective solutions
- Manage non-conformance and corrective action processes, working closely with contractors and subcontractors to address quality issues
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of contractors and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to quality standards and timely completion of work
- Maintain accurate records of quality control activities and provide regular reports and updates to project management
- Coordinate with other stakeholders, such as engineering teams and client representatives, to ensure smooth and efficient execution of quality control activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in quality control for construction and pre-commissioning projects
- Strong understanding of quality control procedures and processes in the construction industry
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards, regulatory requirements, and project specifications
- Experience in conducting inspections and audits of construction activities and pre-commissioning processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with project teams and external stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing and approving quality control documentation
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools for quality control and documentation
- Professional certifications in quality control or construction management are preferred
