· Financial Planning & Analysis:
o Develop and manage the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
o Provide insightful financial analysis to support decision-making, focusing on profitability, cost control, and financial efficiency.
o Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, highlighting key financial metrics and variances.
· Commercial Finance:
o Collaborate with the commercial team to develop pricing strategies and assess the financial impact of commercial decisions.
o Evaluate and monitor the financial performance of trading activities, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
o Lead initiatives to optimize working capital and manage cash flow, including managing credit terms and payment cycles, to ensure operational liquidity.
· Supply Chain Finance:
o Oversee supply chain finance activities, including inventory management, supplier payments, and cost control.
o Work closely with supply chain and procurement teams to optimize the financial aspects of the supply chain, ensuring cost-effective operations.
o Analyze and mitigate financial risks associated with supply chain activities.
· Cost Accounting:
o Manage cost accounting processes, ensuring accurate allocation of costs to products and services.
o Monitor and analyze cost variances, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
o Support the development of cost-saving initiatives and monitor their financial impact.
· Financial Compliance & Risk Management:
o Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies.
o Identify and mitigate financial risks, including currency exposure, credit risk, and market fluctuations.
o Liaise with external auditors and manage the audit process.
· Team Leadership:
o Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and drive financial performance.
Skills
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; CPA, CMA, or MBA is preferred.
- 8 + years of experience in finance management, with a focus on commercial finance, supply chain finance, and cost accounting.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial regulations.
- Proven ability to develop and implement financial strategies that drive business growth.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems; advanced Excel skills are required.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
