We are seeking a skilled Radiographer to join our team. As a Radiographer, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating patients by producing high-quality medical images using various diagnostic imaging equipment. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnosis and effective treatment plans.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRI scans, following established protocols and ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly according to the specific imaging requirements.
- Operate and maintain diagnostic imaging equipment, ensuring it is functional and safe to use.
- Evaluate images for technical quality, ensuring they are clear and accurate for interpretation by radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide specialized imaging services in areas such as surgery, cardiology, and oncology.
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols and ensure proper use of radiation protection devices to minimize exposure to patients and staff.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including imaging results, procedural details, and patient information, in compliance with applicable regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Radiography or a related field.
- Valid licensure as a Radiographer, with a good standing with the designated licensing board.
- Proven experience as a Radiographer, demonstrating proficiency in performing a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures.
- Extensive knowledge of radiographic procedures, equipment, and techniques.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Solid understanding of radiation safety and protection measures.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
