Role Purpose
The primary purpose of the Content Manager is to manage and refine both internal and external communications with a strong focus on Arabic. As an expert in the NEOM style, you will ensure that all communication materials align with our strategic vision and maintain a consistent tone of voice. A significant aspect of this role involves collaborating effectively with internal stakeholders and external agencies, which requires exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills. The role is also dotted line reporting to the Head of Content Marketing.

- Assign and edit a wide range of content, whether it is with a team on the ground or agencies working remotely, ensuring that it is aligned with NEOM’s house style and messaging.
- Manage the translation agency on the Arabic aspect of it and ensure timely high-quality outcomes.
- Content includes the press material, stories for the website, in-depth internal reports, and presentation decks, as well as social media posts.
- Write clear, compelling, and on-brand copy and content for various mediums including digital media, websites, EDMs, socials, wholesale marketing, and packaging.
- Contribute to developing creative concepts for marketing initiatives in response to marketing briefs.
- Develop and execute copy for brand and product campaigns including creative & aspirational taglines.
- Manage the Arabic team in Corporate Marketing.
- Edit and proofread copy as needed.
- Manage copy proofs, feedback, and changes.
- Provide approvals on Arabic.
- Be aware of and understand strategies and objectives from different departments to inform creative copy outputs.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of NEOM’s strategic communication objectives and goals by providing innovative communications content.
- Develop, implement, and update content operational plans and oversee their implementation to take part in the realization of the envisioned future of NEOM.
- Collaborate with relevant NEOM staff members, stakeholders, and leaders to identify required projects and initiatives that support the achievement of NEOM’s strategic communications vision.

- Have good knowledge of tracking best practices in order to report correctly.
- Be able to report on budgets spent and targets to date for channels worked on
- Work closely with the Analytics team to create reporting dashboards that give all the metrics needed for channels worked on
- Responsible for the identification and management of risk in day-to-day responsibilities
- Comply with NEOM policies and procedures including completing mandatory training within the required timeframes.
- Role model positive risk behaviors and contribute towards a strong risk culture at NEOM

Background, Skills & Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- Proven experience, 6yrs+ in content writing and management
- Experience in both copywriting and journalism preferred.
- You are a grammar and punctuation wiz.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as JIRA and Confluence
- Hands-on experience with managing agencies
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment
- A creative mind with the ability to suggest improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, communications, or related discipline
- 6yrs+ of experience in content writing and management
- Experience of both Agency and Client sides an advantage
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and Google Docs
