Role Purpose

This role involves overseeing the implementation, integration, and ongoing management of the ERP system(SAP) to ensure it aligns with Oxagon’s business objectives and processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP systems, excellent stakeholder management skills, and a deep understanding of business processes and technology.

Key Accountabilities & Activities

Develop and Implement ERP Strategy:

  • Define the long-term ERP strategy aligned with the company's business goals.
  • Collaborate with senior management to ensure the ERP strategy supports overall business objectives.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Engage with key stakeholders across departments to understand their needs and ensure the ERP system meets their requirements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for ERP-related discussions with executive leadership.

Budgeting and Resource Allocation:

  • Prepare and manage the ERP budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources.
  • Oversee the selection and management of vendors and third-party service providers.

Technical Ownership: ERP Implementation and Integration:

  • Lead the implementation of the ERP system, ensuring it is integrated smoothly with existing business processes and systems.
  • Oversee data migration, system configuration, and customization efforts.

System Maintenance and Optimization:

  • Ensure the ERP system is maintained and updated to meet the changing needs of the business.
  • Optimize system performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise.

Security and Compliance:

  • Ensure the ERP system complies with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Project Management:

  • Oversee ERP-related projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Utilize project management methodologies to track progress and report on project status.

Continuous Improvement: Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Monitor the performance of the ERP system and generate regular reports for senior management.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance system efficiency and effectiveness.

Strategic and Analytical Skills:

  • Ability to develop and implement long-term ERP strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Analytical skills to assess and optimize ERP system performance.

Technical Proficiency:

  • Deep understanding of ERP systems, including leading platforms like SAP, Oracle, and Microsoft.
  • Technical expertise in system implementation, integration, customization, and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of data migration, system configuration, and security measures.

Project Management:

  • Ability to manage budgets, allocate resources effectively, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Proficiency in using project management methodologies and tools..

Communication and Interpersonal Abilities:

  • Outstanding communication skills to engage with stakeholders, including senior management and cross-departmental teams.
  • Interpersonal skills to understand stakeholder needs and ensure ERP system alignment with business processes.

  • Strong understanding of business processes and how they relate to ERP systems.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Experience in aligning ERP strategies with overall business objectives.

Qualifications

  • Educational and Certification Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field (master’s degree preferred).
