Production Supervisor
You as a Production Supervisor will be part of Hitachi Energy business based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. You will be assisting with managing various production activities (e.g., assembly, material forming/shaping, processing, treating, or packaging, etc.) including Planning, directing, and monitoring production to meet established specifications, schedules, volume/cost/wastage targets, and quality standards. Liaising with Manufacturing Engineering, Supply and Logistics, Sales, etc. as input to developing production schedules and allocating labor or capital resources. Planning, prioritizing, and managing production line maintenance or downtime to minimize disruptions.<br/><br/>Your responsibilities:<br/><br/>Leading the production and testing team.<br/><br/>Responsible of production planning assembling, testing and repairing.<br/><br/>Implementing Lean in production line with outstanding performance that is targeting the best quality, maximum cost saving and shortest delivery time.<br/><br/>Coordinating with the Execution Team to achieve the most efficient processes and optimal use of resources.<br/><br/>Securing the required staffing and foster well-trained and motivated teams and establishing a professional and reliable working environment.<br/><br/>Monitoring and improving the throughput time and building a culture of continuous improvement.<br/><br/>Accountable in ensuring a safe work environment while maintaining company assets and resources.<br/><br/>Ensuring and managing proper setup for assembly and testing to achieve Production KPIs.<br/><br/>Ensuring that the area of responsibilities is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed.<br/><br/>Your background:<br/><br/>A bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.<br/><br/>6 - 10 years of relevant experience.<br/><br/>Strong leadership qualities.<br/><br/>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.<br/><br/>Understanding the lean concept and minimizing all related 7 Wastes.<br/><br/>Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Arabic language is required.<br/><br/>Living Hitachi Energy’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.<br/><br/>#J-18808-Ljbffr
