Sr. Manager of Marketing and Sales

The position of Program Development Manager at CAPA involves spearheading strategic initiatives to enhance market visibility, cultivate partnerships, and drive educational program growth. Responsibilities include developing and implementing marketing strategies, fostering strategic alliances, launching new educational offerings, conducting market assessments, and managing program quality. The role also involves collaboration with internal departments, engagement with professional networks, and leveraging donor relationships for resource development. Additionally, the Manager oversees instructor quality and may teach professional classes as needed. This dynamic role is pivotal in ensuring CAPA's sustained growth and impact within the education sector.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop marketing strategy and implement successfully to achieve the sales target and visibility goals to be strategic partners in the corporate and public sectors, develop promotional campaigns, events to increase visibility and sustain partner pool
  • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships and corporate engagement in lifelong learning process both as a supporter and as a user
  • Launch new educational programs, products and services based on the market needs to improve the quality of workforce and create avenues for continuous growth, academic development and professional advancement.
  • Continually conduct market assessments engaging SMM and AI: monitor the competition, explore market needs, explore new methods and tools for educational product delivery (online and hybrid), develop quality educational products that are in demand and ensure its successful sale to pertinent markets.
  • Create leads (new customer) and retaining strategies to increase the percentage of repeat customers, instill lifelong learning culture, and thus ensure a steady and prominent market share in the region.
  • Support the development and maintenance of CRM and work closely with operations team to apply the findings in making decisions such as sales targets and strategies. Lead and support sales effort at the Front Desk.
  • Develop strategies to enhance the overall satisfaction and loyalty of CAPA's clients.
  • Lead promotional campaign, marketing package development process, SMM strategies and campaigns through cleaver and focused content development and communication of all CAPA programs, services and products.
  • Work closely and collaboratively with AUK Communications department and all colleges to support and communicate AUK messages and strategic efforts.
  • Organize community events, workshops, and seminars to engage with the local community and understand their educational needs, increase visibility and recruit new students.
  • Actively participate in professional networks, both locally and internationally, to stay informed about industry trends and potential collaborations.
  • Collaborate with local organizations and community groups to create educational opportunities for underrepresented populations.
  • Work closely with local and international donors and partners to develop resources for pertinent product and project implementation. Write project proposals and corporate offers identifying funding opportunities to maintain healthy income flow and fund expansion and support for AUK outreach activities.

 

Program Development

  • Continually conduct market assessments: monitor the competition, explore market needs, explore new methods and tools for educational product delivery (online and hybrid), develop quality educational products that are in demand and ensure its successful sale to pertinent markets.
  • Create leads (new customer) and returning student (repeat customer) strategies and processes to grow a true life-long learning culture, and thus ensure a steady and prominent market share in the region.
  • Develop and manage CAPA professional programs across Kurdistan.
  • Work with the Director of CAPA to ensure well-balanced and quality educational programs are offered in the focus strategic areas.
  • Develop and maintain a quality instructor pool with the breadth of industry knowledge to deliver a broad portfolio of courses.
  • Manage the monitoring, evaluation and learning across the board to ensure quality in course content and instruction, and delivery methodology.
  • Manage overall program development in professional and language courses, working closely with the Director and quality assurance team and instructors for consistency and quality in course and program delivery.
  • Foster strategic partners in the corporate and public sectors.
  • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships by proposing new pertinent professional development and consulting packages
  • Develop and maintain a marketing strategy and a menu of courses that are based on the market needs in order to ensure steady income flow and steady growth in numbers of students and outreach.
  • Work closely with local and international donors and partners to develop resources for pertinent product and project implementation. Write project proposals and corporate offers identifying funding opportunities to maintain healthy income flow and fund expansion and support for AUK outreach activities.

 

Instructor

  • Teach professional classes based on knowledge and talents.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Director of CAPA.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required. A Master's degree in a related field is preferred.
  • 5 years of experience in program development, management, marketing, and sales. 
  • Strong understanding of educational market dynamics and trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in conducting market assessments and utilizing data-driven insights.
  • Ability to develop and implement marketing strategies effectively.
  • Experience in supervising and leading teams.
  • Ability to work both in an office environment and the field.
