Position: Elevator Troubleshooting Technician

Location: Saudi Arabia

We are looking for an experienced Elevator Troubleshooting Technician with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on elevator experience.

The ideal candidate must be highly skilled in independently in fault finding, troubleshooting, breakdown repairs, and diagnosing electrical and mechanical problems in elevators. The candidate should be capable of attending breakdowns independently, identifying the root cause of faults, and carrying out repairs safely and efficiently.

He will be attending any call-backs after duty hours

working hours: 8am - 5pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and troubleshoot elevator electrical, electronic, and mechanical faults.
• Attend elevator breakdowns and identify the root cause of failures.
• Troubleshoot controllers, drives/VFDs, door systems, safety circuits, sensors, relays, contactors, and other elevator components.
• Read and understand electrical wiring diagrams and control circuits.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Perform testing, adjustments, repairs, and replacement of faulty components.
• Identify recurring faults and recommend permanent solutions.
• Respond to emergency breakdown calls when required.
• Ensure elevators are operating safely and reliably after repairs.
• Follow all company safety procedures and applicable elevator safety standards.
• Maintain proper service and maintenance records.
• Work independently and provide technical support to junior technicians when required.

Experience Required:

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on elevator experience.
• Strong experience in elevator troubleshooting and breakdown maintenance.
• Must be capable of independently diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults.
• Experience with different elevator brands/controllers is highly preferred.
• GCC experience is preferred.
• ITI/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or a related technical field is preferred.
