About the Role

Fengkai Group Co., Limited is seeking a PHD Peer Reviewer specializing in Urban Planning. This is a long-term, stable part-time position that supports remote work, based in Saudi Arabia. The role involves critically evaluating academic manuscripts to ensure their quality and contribution to the field.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess the novelty of submitted manuscripts, verifying originality and the addition of new knowledge or insights to the field of study.
• Evaluate study design and methodology to ensure appropriateness, comprehensiveness, and clear description for reproducibility.
• Conduct thorough literature reviews to confirm that manuscripts incorporate and cite relevant, up-to-date research.
• Analyze results and conclusions, determining if they are presented clearly and appropriately, and if conclusions are supported by data and significant to the field.
• Provide constructive feedback, suggesting improvements and highlighting any flaws, omissions, or ethical concerns.
• Formulate recommendations for publication status (acceptance, revision, or rejection) to the journal editor based on comprehensive evaluation.

Qualifications and Experience

• A ** in Urban Planning or a closely related field is required.
• Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in academic research or peer review.
• Demonstrated expertise in evaluating research methodology, data analysis, and academic writing standards.
