Key Responsibilities:
The Senior Forensic Delay Analyst will:
Forensic Analysis & Claims Management
- Conduct comprehensive forensic delay analysis and critical path methodology assessments to identify, quantify, and document project delays
- Review and assess detailed delay and disruption claims, producing expert reports
- Analyze complex construction programs using Primavera P6 software
- Evaluate extension of time claims and disruption events to establish liability and quantum
- Apply recognized delay analysis methodologies including Time Impact Analysis, Windows Analysis, and As-Planned vs As-Built
Program Review & Performance Assessment
- Review and analyze baseline programs, progress updates, and schedule narratives to assess contractor performance and compliance
- Prepare comprehensive reports on delay causation, concurrent delays, and acceleration impacts
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Mentor junior analysts and develop team capabilities
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams including project managers and cost consultants
Essential Requirements: Experience and Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years' specialized experience in forensic delay analysis and claims management within the construction and infrastructure sector
- Demonstrable experience working on giga projects or large-scale infrastructure developments valued at $1 billion+
- Proven expertise in delay analysis for complex construction disputes
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related discipline
- Professional qualifications such as Chartered Engineer status, Project Management Professional (PMP), or recognized planning certifications highly desirable
Technical Expertise
- Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 with demonstrated ability to analyze and reconstruct complex construction schedules
- Strong understanding of critical path methodology and schedule logic
- Comprehensive knowledge of recognized delay analysis methodologies including those outlined in the Society of Construction Law Delay and Disruption Protocol
- Experience with standard forms of contract including FIDIC (Red Book, Yellow Book, Silver Book) contracts
- Familiarity with Saudi Arabian construction law, local market conditions, and regional contractual frameworks highly advantageous

Desirable Experience
- Previous experience working in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia or the wider Middle East region
- Familiarity with Vision 2030 giga projects and the local regulatory environment
