Senior Finance Manager

About the Role Our client is a global technology and AI organisation expanding its presence across the Middle East. We are seeking a local Senior Finance Manager with strong Saudi market experience to lead accounting, reporting, audit, tax, and regulatory compliance activities. This is a key finance role within a fast-growing, international technology environment, offering the opportunity to take ownership of the Saudi finance function.
Key Responsibilities Oversee accounting operations, month-end/year-end closing, and financial reporting. Prepare and review management accounts and statutory financial statements. Ensure compliance with Saudi accounting, statutory reporting, and regulatory requirements. Manage external audits, including auditor relationships, documentation, and resolution of findings. Oversee Saudi tax compliance, filings, reconciliations, and related obligations. Maintain robust financial controls, accounting policies, and procedures. Monitor regulatory changes and ensure timely implementation of new requirements. Provide financial analysis and reporting to senior management. Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial planning. Drive finance process improvements, systems enhancements, and automation. Manage and develop finance team members where applicable.
Requirements6-10 years of finance and accounting experience, with substantial management experience expected for Senior Finance Manager level. Proven experience across accounting, statutory reporting, audit, tax, and regulatory compliance. Strong understanding of Saudi accounting standards, statutory requirements, and tax regulations. Experience managing external audits and working with auditors and regulatory stakeholders. Experience preparing financial statements, management accounts, reconciliations, and statutory reports. Previous team management or supervisory experience preferred. SOCPA certification/membership or another relevant Saudi professional qualification is highly preferred. ACCA, CPA, CMA, ACA, or equivalent qualification is advantageous. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Strong analytical, organisational, and stakeholder management skills. Experience within a multinational technology, AI, software, or fast-growth business is highly desirable.
