About the Cashier Accountant Job

Fool Khulofa Popular Foods Restaurants announces its need to hire a Cashier Accountant Employee to join its team in Jeddah, in the Makkah Region. The cashier employee is responsible for managing all cash and credit transactions, ensuring accounting accuracy, and delivering excellent customer service.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

• Count and record cash in the cash register at the start of each shift, ensuring sufficient small currency is available.
• Receive payments from customers in cash or via credit cards or other approved payment methods, issue necessary receipts, and return the remaining amounts accurately.
• Regularly update price lists, calculate the cost of goods or services, prepare invoices, and apply approved discounts when needed.
• Reconcile cash received with total sales at the end of each work shift, and report or resolve any discrepancies according to established procedures.
• Interact with customers in a professional and friendly manner, and effectively fulfill requests to add or remove items from purchase lists.

Qualifications and Experience

• Practical experience range from zero to one year in a related field, preferably in the restaurant or retail sector.
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and quickly.
• Good basic math and accounting skills.
• Commitment to accuracy and integrity in handling money.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to deal courteously with different types of customers.
