Job Overview

Sas Al-Balad for Operation and Maintenance is seeking a Safety and Health Supervisor to join its team in the Asir region. This full-time role aims to ensure the application of occupational safety and health standards at facilities through close monitoring of regulations, inspections, accident investigations, and the preparation of necessary procedures. The role requires 0-1 year of experience in a related field.

Key Responsibilities

The Occupational Health and Safety Supervisor handles a set of critical tasks to ensure a safe working environment, including the following responsibilities:

  • Monitoring the application of laws, regulations, and safety instructions related to occupational safety and health within facilities.
  • Conducting periodic and emergency inspections at work sites to assess compliance with OHS standards, recording results and comparing them with approved standards.
  • Preparing and using equipment and devices for measuring environmental factors such as temperature, humidity, noise, and vibration, documenting results, and following up on hazard mitigation with the relevant authorities.
  • Preparing investigation materials for accidents and occupational injuries, conducting necessary investigations, and documenting all related results.
  • Preparing occupational safety and health instructions and procedures, including safe work instructions and evacuation instructions, and educating workers about them.
  • Preparing and presenting routine and special work reports, documenting and archiving them systematically.

Qualifications and Experience

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications and experience:

  • Hands-on experience ranging from 0 to 1 year in the field of occupational health and safety.
  • Strong understanding of laws and regulations related to safety and occupational health.

Skills and Competencies

The candidate should possess the following skills and competencies to perform the role effectively:

  • Ability to conduct inspections and field assessments.
  • Strong skills in using environmental measurement instruments and data documentation.
  • Ability to investigate incidents and perform root cause analysis.
  • Skills in preparing technical and administrative reports.
  • Strong communication skills to raise awareness among workers and coordinate with relevant authorities.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in the Asir region, requiring presence at various job sites to ensure safety standards are applied.
