The Assistant Director of Engineering Role

Four Seasons Hotels (KSA) is seeking an Assistant Director of Engineering to join the opening team for its new resort at The Red Sea. Reporting directly to the Director of Engineering, this full-time position is a key member of the Engineering team, contributing to both strategic planning and operational decisions for the hotel.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional direction and strategic leadership for the Engineering and Maintenance team.
• Oversee all aspects of hotel and building maintenance operations.
• Manage project initiatives, including annual and long-term capital expenditures.
• Handle procurement and planning activities for engineering operations.
• Lead the day-to-day maintenance operations of the hotel.
• Conduct budget planning and management for the department.
• Lead the Safety Committee to ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Oversee the energy conservation program to promote sustainable practices.
• Ensure all responsibilities are accomplished in conjunction with talent leadership and development initiatives.
• Deliver consistently high standards across all engineering functions.
• Ensure the safety and comfort of both guests and employees.
