Electronic Technician Role at Gulfmaid

Gulfmaid is seeking an experienced Electronic Technician to join its Maintenance team. This full-time position is based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, and requires 5-10 years of relevant experience in electronic and electrical systems maintenance.

Role Summary

The Electronic Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the operational efficiency of production machinery. This involves diagnosing and resolving complex electrical and electronic control issues, performing essential maintenance, and contributing to efforts that minimize downtime and enhance system reliability within the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical and electronic control issues that arise during production operations.
• Execute both preventive and corrective maintenance activities on industrial equipment.
• Diagnose faults within PLCs, HMIs, sensors, control circuits, and various industrial control systems.
• Support root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to effectively minimize machine downtime.
• Conduct thorough machine inspections to identify critical electrical and electronic components requiring attention.
• Maintain accurate and detailed maintenance records and reports.
• Ensure strict compliance with all safety, quality, and environmental requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or Associate Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
• A minimum of 5-10 years of hands-on experience with PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and industrial control systems.
• Demonstrated strong knowledge of electronic circuits, components, and control system principles.

Required Skills and Attributes

• Proficiency in troubleshooting and strong analytical skills for fault diagnosis.
• Possession of a PLC programming or electronic troubleshooting certification is considered an advantage.

Work Environment and Application
