About the Role

The National Company for Education and Training announces its need to hire Student Counselor/ 2026-2027 to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role aims to provide comprehensive support to students to foster a positive and productive learning environment. The role requires experience ranging from two to five years in the field of student counseling.

General Objective of the Job

The primary objective of this position is to provide psychological and educational support to students, and to work on achieving psychological, social, and educational alignment among them. This role directly contributes to enhancing the educational process and improving learning outcomes.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

• Develop the annual counseling program plan and identify target groups and schedule them.
• Identify weekly counseling activities and implement them within the educational stage according to the approved plan.
• Develop reception and orientation programs for first-year students to help them adapt to the school environment.
• Prepare plans and activities to strengthen home-school partnership to support students' behavior and academic achievement.
• Provide counseling services for students facing difficulties in abilities or skills or a decline in academic achievement.
• Provide counseling care for gifted students and students with special needs to meet their educational needs.
• Monitor students of various talents such as drawing, writing, innovations, theater, and public speaking, classify them, and provide the gifted center with their data, and follow up their participation in activities.
• Provide counseling services for students, parents, and teachers to create a suitable educational environment inside the school and at home.
• Address morning lateness causes among students in cooperation with parents.
• Identify students with special health cases and provide appropriate counseling support, with guidance to teachers on suitable educational approaches.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by the direct supervisor.

Measurement and Evaluation

• Prepare questionnaires and surveys to measure student and parent satisfaction with the counseling services provided.
• Monitor the results of counseling programs and evaluate their impact on students.

Required Qualifications and Experience

This role requires practical experience ranging from two to five years in the field of student counseling or a related educational field. The candidate must have the ability to apply educational and psychological principles to support students at various educational stages.

Work Environment and Communications

The student counselor works under the direct supervision of the Department Manager. Internal communications involve ongoing interaction with educational stage staff to ensure effective coordination and comprehensive support for students. There are no specific external communications directly within the scope of this role.
