About KBR and the Head of QA/QC Role

KBR, Inc. is seeking a Head of QA/QC to join its Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) division. This full-time position is based in Al Jubail, Eastern region. KBR STS delivers holistic and value-added solutions across the entire asset lifecycle, encompassing licensed process technologies, advisory services, technical domain expertise, energy transition solutions, high-end design capabilities, and smart solutions for optimizing assets.

Role Overview

The Head of QA/QC will be responsible for facilitating, monitoring, and controlling plant maintenance, quality assurance procedures, and policies. This critical role ensures that all maintenance processes adhere to the company's specified quality and HSEQ standards, contributing to operational excellence and continuous improvement within a multi-cultural work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop QA plans and other required process control procedures to ensure maintenance processes meet specified quality and HSEQ standards.
• Maintain the Corrective Action program and other quality systems.
• Develop and implement the Quality Management System.
• Coordinate and participate in internal audits with Company Quality personnel.
• Conduct Quality Assurance investigations (Deviations, Out-of-Specifications, etc.).
• Review maintenance processes and ensure they are carried out in accordance with applicable Standard Operating Procedure(s) and work instructions.
• Liaise with other departments on Quality Assurance issues.
• Carry out other Quality Assurance functions as they may arise.
• Support contractor staff in its mission of compliance and continuous improvement.
• Ensure all QA department personnel are trained to perform their jobs effectively and manage the QA departmental budget and other administrative functions to ensure an efficient, cost-effective, and well-integrated maintenance operation.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in a relevant quality assurance or quality control role.
• Strong technical understanding of Quality Control and Assurance principles.
• Holding NACE Level 2 certification.
• Strong knowledge in Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
