About the Role: Media Analyst

NTU International A/S is preparing a proposal for a significant project focused on communication outreach and engagement regarding EU policies. We are establishing a pool of qualified Non-Key Experts, including a Media Analyst, to support this initiative. This part-time role, based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, will involve short-term, on-demand assignments during the project's implementation phase.

Project Context and Objectives

The project, titled "Communication outreach and engagement on EU policies in North Africa, the Middle East and the Gulf," aims to provide strategic, technical, and logistical communication support to DG MENA. The overall objective is to strengthen the visibility, outreach, and impact of the European Union's policies, initiatives, and partnerships across the Middle East, North Africa, and the Gulf region over a 36-month period.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor print, broadcast, online, and social media coverage related to EU policies, initiatives, and partnerships.
• Produce regular media monitoring reports, analytical briefings, and media summaries.
• Analyze media trends, public narratives, and stakeholder perceptions across the Middle East, North Africa, and the Gulf region.
• Assess the reach and effectiveness of communication campaigns and media activities.
• Identify emerging issues, risks, and opportunities that may influence communication strategies.
• Support communication teams with evidence-based recommendations and media insights.
• Utilize media monitoring and analytics tools to collect, analyze, and visualize media data.
• Contribute to strategic reporting and communication planning.

Qualifications and Experience

• A degree (or equivalent) in media studies or communication is required.
• Candidates should possess between 5 to 10 years of relevant professional experience.

Work Arrangement

This position is offered on a part-time basis. Experts will be mobilized on a short-term, on-demand schedule throughout the project's 36-month duration, as specific needs arise for day-to-day communication activities.
