Client is seeking a skilled and proactive Network Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in designing, implementing, managing, and troubleshooting enterprise network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in LAN/WAN technologies, routing and switching, firewalls, VPNs, wireless networking, and network security. The successful candidate will ensure high availability, optimal performance, and security of the organization's network infrastructure while supporting business continuity and future scalability.
Key Responsibilities:Design, implement, configure, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure. Install, configure, and support routers, switches, firewalls, wireless controllers, and access points. Monitor network performance and proactively identify and resolve issues. Configure and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, and SD-WAN environments. Manage network security devices, firewall policies, and access control lists (ACLs). Ensure high availability through redundancy, failover, and disaster recovery solutions. Monitor bandwidth utilization and perform capacity planning. Perform firmware upgrades, patching, and preventive maintenance of network devices. Configure and manage VLANs, routing protocols, and switching technologies. Troubleshoot complex network connectivity and performance issues. Work with Internet Service Providers (ISPs), telecom vendors, and third-party service providers. Maintain accurate network diagrams, configurations, and technical documentation. Implement network monitoring and alerting solutions. Support cloud connectivity, remote access, and hybrid network environments. Participate in infrastructure projects, technology upgrades, and network expansion initiatives. Ensure compliance with organizational security standards and industry best practices.
Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in enterprise network administration and engineering. Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking concepts and network architecture. Experience managing medium to large enterprise networks. Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
