General Description of Role and Responsibilities:
Supervise and inspect electrical works on-site to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project requirements. Monitor contractor performance, workmanship, and progress, ensuring timely resolution of technical and quality issues. Review electrical shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and technical documentation. Inspect electrical installations, including LV systems, lighting, power distribution, and associated building services. Ensure approved materials are used and that all works comply with project specifications and HSE requirements. Monitor testing, commissioning, and inspection activities, maintaining accurate records and documentation. Prepare daily site reports, inspection reports, progress updates, and maintain site records. Coordinate with the Client, Consultants, Project Engineers, and Contractors to support successful project delivery. Review variations, technical queries, and changes to minimise project delays and cost impacts. Ensure compliance with Hill International’s quality, safety, and environmental procedures.
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Minimum 5–8 years’ experience in electrical site supervision/construction supervision roles. Experience working on residential, villa, hospitality, or large-scale building projects. Strong knowledge of electrical installations, testing, and commissioning processes. Experience managing contractors and conducting site inspections. Good understanding of construction standards, HSE requirements, and quality control procedures. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documents. Strong communication, reporting, and coordination skills.
