Life Company Carpet Factory is seeking an Accountant to join its team in Dammam, Eastern Province. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising day-to-day accounting operations, including preparing financial documents, tracking revenues, recording accounting entries, and preparing periodic reports. The role requires 2 to 5 years of experience in accounting and is a full-time position.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

The role includes a set of fundamental accounting and financial tasks that ensure the accuracy of financial records and compliance with approved procedures. These tasks include the following:

• Auditing financial claims and verifying their compliance with legal and financial requirements.
• Preparing, organizing, and documenting expense documents, and following up on their audit and approval by regulatory authorities.
• Monitoring current and capital expenditures in line with the monthly financial position of budget items.
• Preparing accounting entries and recording all financial transactions in the designated ledgers.
• Auditing bank accounts and preparing necessary reconciliations with monthly statements.

Revenue and Expense Management

The accountant is responsible for a rigorous process to collect, document, and analyze revenue to ensure financial transparency. The role also includes effectively managing expenses by:

• Regularly tracking, documenting, and analyzing revenue.
• Preparing and archiving reports and documents related to expenses and revenues.
• Ensuring compliance with internal and external financial policies and procedures.

Financial Reporting and Development

The accountant is responsible for preparing periodic and closing financial reports, in addition to contributing to the development of accounting procedures. These aspects include the following:

• Preparing the financial position and monthly summaries, and organizing the annual closing accounts.
• Preparing and storing specialized documents and reports in the field of expense and revenue accounting in the database.
• Developing accounting methods and procedures and keeping up with scientific and technological advances in the field.

Qualifications and Experience Required

To fill this position, the candidate must possess the following qualifications and experiences:

• Practical experience ranging from 2 to 5 years in accounting.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial auditing procedures.
• Ability to prepare financial reports and analyze data.
