About the Role

Al Tuwairqi Group is seeking an Assistant Technician, Mechanical Maintenance to join our team in Dammam. This full-time position is integral to supporting the mechanical management objectives for equipment upkeep and operational efficiency within our facilities.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to contribute to achieving the mechanical management's goals for equipment maintenance and ensuring operational wellness. The Assistant Technician will play a key part in enhancing plant productivity by adhering strictly to safety instructions and applying mechanical expertise in a rolling mill environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting practices specifically within the rolling mill operations.
• Collaborate effectively with senior mechanical technicians on the implementation of general maintenance work orders.
• Comprehend planned results to ensure timely completion and quality implementation of maintenance work.
• Report relevant activities and provide status updates on all assigned maintenance tasks.
• Perform various mill maintenance fittings work as required.

Safety and Workplace Compliance

• Ensure safety aspects are maintained within the workplace, covering tools, facilities, and personnel.
• Understand and strictly follow all organizational Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) policies.
• Maintain familiarity with all safety instructions pertinent to job responsibilities.
• Keep provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) in good, workable conditions.
• Report any accidents, near misses, or hazardous conditions promptly to the concerned responsible parties.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess 0-1 years of relevant experience in mechanical maintenance or a related field. A foundational understanding of mechanical principles and safety protocols is essential.
