About the Operations Executive Role at Amazon Saudi Arabia

Amazon Saudi Arabia is seeking an Operations Executive to join its Ultra Fast Grocery (UFG) operations team in Dammam. This full-time position is designed for candidates with 0-1 years of experience in an operational capacity, focusing on redefining fast delivery services within the region.

Role Context and Objectives

The Amazon Ultra Fast Grocery (UFG) operations team is at the forefront of designing and launching new business models across the AMET region. This role is integral to building and running new services for customers and managing 3P Store Operations. The Operations Executive will ensure Amazon policies, including attendance tracking, are implemented and administered fairly and consistently. This includes motivating, coaching, reporting, and providing feedback on associates’ performance across productivity, quality, and safety, to achieve or exceed Amazon expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing, on a daily basis, end-to-end UTR operations for either one large site or a combination of small sites, supervising store operations.
• Meeting customer-facing metrics while maintaining operational and quality targets and upholding the safety and morale of the team.
• Driving performance management of team members.
• Preparing and implementing training and development plans for pickers.
• Working closely with merchant stakeholders to continuously improve the operations process and attain a sustained level of performance improvement.
• Conducting 4M / 5S and Safety GEMBA audits for the stores on a daily basis.
• Standing in for the Area Manager as required.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience in an operational role.
• Fluent in speaking, writing, and reading English.
• Fluent in speaking, writing, and reading Arabic.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of manufacturing or customer-facing environment experience.
