### Overview /
We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer with strong design capabilities and proven expertise in delivering complex and high-rise building projects. The successful candidate must be fully proficient in BIM workflows, familiar with the ACC (Autodesk Construction Cloud) platform, and well-versed in Saudi Building Codes and local authority requirements.
### Key Responsibilities /
- Lead the mechanical design of large-scale and high-rise building projects across HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and mechanical systems.- Develop, review, and approve design documents including calculations, schematics, load calculations, equipment sizing, and system layouts.- Ensure all mechanical systems comply with Saudi Building Code (SBC), ASHRAE, NFPA, and local authority regulations.- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including architecture, structure, electrical, and infrastructure.- Manage BIM model development, clash detection, and coordination using Revit, Navisworks, and related tools.- Use ACC for model sharing, document control, and collaborative coordination with project teams.- Prepare and review technical reports, specifications, and tender documentation.- Support construction and site teams by reviewing RFIs, material submittals, shop drawings, and providing expert technical guidance.- Mentor junior mechanical engineers and ensure all design outputs meet project quality standards.
### Qualifications & Requirements /
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering; Master’s degree is an advantage.- Minimum of 10 years of mechanical design experience, including high-rise or complex building projects.- Strong understanding of SBC, local authority requirements (Civil Defense, Municipality, Utilities), and international standards.- Advanced proficiency in BIM tools (Revit, Navisworks) and ACC platform.- Strong experience in HVAC design, plumbing systems, firefighting systems, and mechanical calculations software.- Strong communication, documentation, and coordination skills.- Fluent in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.- Available to join immediately.
