Job description
The role of the Industrial Workshop Manager involves direct supervision of all workshop operations and monitoring daily work processes.
- Overseeing all activities in the industrial workshop and tracking daily work progress.
- Preparing and organizing work plans and distributing tasks to technicians and workers according to project priorities.
- Monitoring the execution of manufacturing, welding, cutting, and shaping tasks, ensuring compliance with technical drawings and specifications.
- Quality control of completed work and ensuring adherence to quality and occupational safety standards.
- Supervising the operation and maintenance of workshop equipment and coordinating maintenance schedules as needed.
- Monitoring workshop material needs and submitting purchase requests as necessary.
- Coordinating with project management and engineering departments to ensure timely completion of tasks as per the specified schedule.
- Monitoring workshop productivity and working on improving performance and increasing operational efficiency.
- Ensuring the implementation of safety and health systems and procedures within the workshop.
- Preparing regular reports on work processes and production and submitting them to management.
- Training and guiding workers, evaluating their performance, and recommending appropriate development programs.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the workshop and ensuring optimal use of materials and equipment.
- Executing any other tasks assigned by management related to the role.
