Role Description The Fleet Team Leader is a full-time, on-site role based in Mecca, responsible for overseeing day-to-day fleet operations and ensuring vehicles are available, safe, and efficiently utilized. This role coordinates vehicle scheduling, dispatch, and routing, monitors maintenance and repairs, and ensures compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The Fleet Team Leader supervises drivers and support staff, tracks performance, and provides guidance and training to improve efficiency and service quality. The role also involves monitoring fuel usage and operating costs, maintaining accurate fleet records, preparing regular reports, and collaborating with logistics, operations, and management teams to support business needs. Qualifications Experience in fleet management or transportation operations, including vehicle scheduling, routing, and utilization. Strong people management skills, with experience leading teams, assigning tasks, and coaching staff for performance and safety. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance processes, safety regulations, and compliance requirements relevant to fleet operations. Proficiency in using fleet management systems or related software, with solid skills in data entry, reporting, and basic analysis. Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills. Effective communication skills in a professional setting, with the ability to coordinate across departments and build cooperative working relationships. Prior experience in logistics, mobility services, or consumer goods distribution in Saudi Arabia is an advantage. Relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree in logistics, business administration, transportation management, or a related field is preferred.
