Job description

Key Responsibilities

  • Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
  • Prepare accurate cost estimates and quantity takeoffs.
  • Prepare and analyze Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
  • Calculate material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
  • Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
  • Prepare competitive pricing proposals and tender submissions.
  • Conduct cost analysis and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project teams.
  • Maintain updated cost databases and market price records.

Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Experience in construction estimation or pricing.
  • Strong knowledge of BOQ, quantity surveying, and cost analysis.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
