Summary

Provides academic leadership in biomedical sciences through graduate-level teaching, research supervision, and the development of innovative research programs.

1. Develops, organizes, and delivers graduate-level teachingin assigned biomedical disciplines (e.g., molecular biology, genomics,immunology, biochemistry, bioinformatics).
2. Designs and implements curricula aligned withinternational academic standards and Ministry of Education (MOE) requirements.
3. Contributes to the development of interdisciplinaryprograms and strategic academic initiatives.
4. Establishes and leads independent and collaborativeresearch programs aligned with KFSHRC's research priorities.
5. Secures competitive research funding and publishes inhigh-impact, peer-reviewed journals (minimum 2 publications per year inreputable journals as per AU policy).
6. Collaborates with clinical, translational, and researchteams across KFSHRC and Alfaisal University.
7. Supervises and mentors PhD and MD-PhD students, ensuringhigh-quality academic and research outcomes.
8. Participates in faculty development and fosters acollaborative academic environment.
9. Mentors’ junior faculty and supports their professionaldevelopment.
10. Participates in academic governance, includingdepartmental, school, and institutional committees.
11. Contributes to accreditation processes, qualityassurance, and program evaluation in alignment with MOE and NCAAA standards.
12. Follows all Hospital’s related Policies and Procedures.
13. Participates in self and others' education, training anddevelopment, as applicable.
14. Performs other related duties as assigned.

PhD (or equivalent terminaldegree) in a relevant biomedical science discipline from an accreditedinstitution or other related discipline is required.

Six (6) years of relatedexperience post-doctoral degree is required
