Job Description / Responsibility Position ALUMINIUM FABRICATOR FOREMAN (SHIPYARD) Industry Shipbuilding / Ship Repair / Marine Engineering Job Responsibilities Supervise and lead a team of aluminium fabricators engaged in shipbuilding and ship repair projects. Read and interpret engineering drawings, fabrication plans, and technical specifications. Plan, assign, and monitor daily fabrication activities to ensure timely project completion. Ensure accurate cutting, fitting, assembling, welding, and installation of aluminium structures. Inspect fabricated components to ensure compliance with quality standards and project specifications. Coordinate with production, quality, and engineering departments to resolve fabrication issues. Ensure proper use and maintenance of fabrication tools, machinery, and equipment. Monitor productivity and maintain high standards of workmanship. Enforce company safety procedures and ensure compliance with HSE regulations. Prepare daily work reports and monitor manpower utilization.
Educational Requirements Diploma Diploma Diploma / Trade Certificate in Fabrication, Welding, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.

Experience Requirements7–12 years of experience as an Aluminium Fabricator Foreman. Proven experience in Shipyard, Marine, Offshore, or Heavy Steel/Aluminium Fabrication projects is mandatory. Previous supervisory experience leading fabrication teams is required.
Required Skills Strong knowledge of aluminium fabrication and welding processes. Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and blueprints. Experience with aluminium cutting, fitting, welding, grinding, and finishing. Knowledge of MIG/TIG welding techniques for aluminium. Strong leadership, planning, and team management skills. Ability to maintain quality standards and achieve production targets. Good problem-solving and communication skills. Basic computer knowledge. Good written and spoken English.
