Qualifications = Associate Degree /BS Instrumentation & Control / Automation Engineering Exp-5+ yrs Madatory Skill-Autocad and SPI Tool Exposure in Industrial Structures The I & C Designer should be able to understand the design package and execute both from the design and execution perspective Experienced Designer with knowledge of detail design stages and preparation of design deliverables in detail during IFR / IFA/ IFC package preparation of I&C ( Instrumentation , Controls & Automation) discipline. Work with the Design team to understand the changes and update the model/drawings/ documentation Work with the contractors to implement the changes and answer any questions Track the RFI’s promptly for closure Must use Auto CAD to build loops, junction box and layout drawings. Must be able to work with on-site engineering to build the scope of work and IFA (Issue for Approval)/IFC (Issue for Construction) packages. Onsite coordination with all stakeholders Site coordination for inputs and providing mark-up on layouts/drawings to offshore team Project execution including coordination with Site team, vendors and contractors Auto CAD Expertise (must follow LYB engineering standards) Field measurement Electrical wire runs and loop diagrams More extensive electrical/control drawings Conduct self-check to mitigate the errors on the drawings & deliverables prepared. maintaining comment resolution logs. The Designer, should be able to understand the design package and execute both from the design and execution perspective Experience of Brown field projects including MOCs. Should be able to provide quick solutions with the help of photographs & sketch to team. Should be able to populate MTO manually from relevant drawings. Should be familiar with Code of Practice and Standards relevant to O&G/Chemical plants. Should be able to prepare and review E&I design deliverables independently in compliance with Codes &Standards. Good verbal and written communication skills in English language.
