Overview
Our client is a leading petrochemical company in Saudi Arabia operates advanced facilities and, as a joint venture between a major Saudi industrial group and a global chemical leader, combines local expertise with international innovation.
Responsibilities
Develop and review Process Design Basis (PDB) and Design Philosophy documents. Develop and review Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Utility Flow Diagrams (UFDs). Perform process simulations using Aspen HYSYS / Aspen Plus or equivalent. Define operating cases, turndown, start-up, shutdown, and upset scenarios. Lead and close P&ID reviews / HAZOP actions with proper documentation.
Requirements
Saudi-based candidates highly considered. Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering.10+ years of relevant experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, refinery, or chemical process plants. Prior PDP / FEED and DEP execution experience is mandatory. Strong knowledge of PDP and FEED workflows.
