المسؤوليات
- إجراء مراجعات تقنية وسلامة تفصيلية لإجراءات التشغيل القياسية/MOP/EOP للمرافق الحيوية في مراكز البيانات.
- التحقق من أن الإجراءات تعكس بدقة الظروف كما-بُنيت، وتكوينات المعدات، وتسلسلات التشغيل، ومتطلبات المرفق.
- التأكد من أن الإجراءات دقيقة تقنيًا وكاملة ومسيطر عليها بشكل صحيح وخالية من التعليمات المتعارضة أو القديمة أو المزدوجة أو غير الدقيقة.
- تقييم الإجراءات للمخاطر على الأفراد، والمخاطر التشغيلية، والتدابير الاحترازية، والتحكمات المطلوبة، وتأثيرها المحتمل على وقت تشغيل المرفق.
- إجراء تقييمات مخاطر رسمية وتحليل مخاطر للإجراءات المخطط لها من صيانة، وإيقاف تشغيل المعدات، وتبديل كهربائي، وتشغيل المولدات، وصيانة UPS، وصيانة النظام الميكانيكي، وتشغيل نظام التبريد، ونقل المرافق، وأنشطة الاستجابة للطوارئ.
- الالتزام باللوائح السعودية الخاصة بالسلامة المهنية، ومتطلبات العميل، وإرشادات NFPA ذات الصلة، ومبادئ OSHA حيثما كان مطلوبًا تعاقديًا، وممارسات السلامة الدولية المعتمدة.
- مراجعة تطبيق LOTO وممارسات العمل الآمن الكهربائية، وضوابط مخاطر شرارة القوس، ومتطلبات PPE، ورخصة العمل الكهربائية المُعزّزة، والدخول إلى أماكن محدودة، والعمل الساخن، والعمل على ارتفاعات، وأنظمة إصدار تصريح العمل، ومتطلبات التحقق من العزل.
- التأكد من أن معدات PPE المطلوبة والمتطلبات السابقة وخطوات الطوارئ وخطوات التراجع والتحكمات السلامة محددة بوضوح قبل تنفيذ الإجراء.
- التأكد من أرقام تعريف المعدات وأرقام القواطع وتعيينات الصمامات والمرجعيات النظامية ومخططات الأسلاك، ومخططات P&IDs، وجداول المعدات، ووثائق كما-بُنيت.
- المشاركة في اجتماعات المراجعة الفنية وورش السلامة ومناقشات التحقق من الإجراءات.
- تقديم توصيات واضحة لتحسين جودة الإجراءات والتناسق والسلامة والموثوقية التشغيلية.
- دعم تنسيق قوالب الإجراءات وتسيير الإجراءات وبرامج المراجعة الدورية والإجراءات التصحيحية والتحسين المستمر عبر عدة مرافق.
المؤهلات
المؤهلات المطلوبة:
- يفضل درجة البكالوريوس في هندسة السلامة أو الصحة والسلامة المهنية، أو الهندسة الميكانيكية، أو الهندسة الكهربائية، أو الهندسة الصناعية، أو تخصص تقني ذي صلة.
- خبرة لا تقل عن 10 سنوات في سلامة البناء، والسلامة الصناعية، والسلامة التشغيلية، والاعتماد، وعمليات المرفق، أو وظيفة سلامة ذات صلة.
- خبرة لا تقل عن 5 سنوات مباشرة في مرافق حيوية، وعمليات صناعية، وتوليد الطاقة، ومراكز البيانات، والاعتماد، أو عمليات المرافق.
- خبرة مثبتة في مراجعة وتطوير أو اعتماد إجراءات التشغيل القياسية/MOP/EOP للمرافق الحيوية أو بيئات تشغيل معقدة.
- خبرة في إجراء تقييمات مخاطر تشغيلية وتحليل المخاطر ومراجعات السلامة المعتمدة على الإجراءات.
- فهم قوي للأنظمة الكهربائية والميكانيكية الشائعة في مراكز البيانات أو المرافق الحرجة المماثلة.
- معرفة بنظام LOTO، ونظام العمل بتصريح، وإجراءات تبديل الكهرباء، والتحقق من العزل، والعمل الكهربائي المُكهرب، ومتطلبات PPE، وإدارة المخاطر التشغيلية.
- القدرة على التحقق من الإجراءات مقابل الرسومات الحالية ومخططات الأسلاك ومخططات P&IDs وجداول المعدات ووثائق كما-بُنيت والسجلات الفنية.
- فهم قوي للوائح السلامة السعودية ومتطلبات سلامة العملاء وإرشادات NFPA ذات الصلة ومبادئ OSHA حيثما كان ذلك قابل للتطبيق وممارسات السلامة الدولية.
- اهتمام استثنائي بالتفاصيل مع القدرة على تحديد النواقص الفنية والإجرائية والتنظيمية والسلامة.
- مهارات تحليلية ممتازة، وحل المشكلات، وتوثيق، والقدرة على التواصل كتابة وشفهيًا.
- القدرة على العمل بفعالية مع فرق التشغيل والهندسة والجودة والتكليف/EHS والمقاولين والاستشاريين وأصحاب المصلحة من العملاء.
- الالتزام بالحفاظ على معايير السلامة العالية والتميز التشغيلي والامتثال التنظيمي وموثوقية تشغيل مراكز البيانات.
المؤهلات المفضلة:
- خبرة مباشرة في دعم عمليات مراكز البيانات والمرافق الحيوية والتكليف والإدارة الجودة أو تشغيل وصيانة المرافق.
- خبرة بأنظمة التوزيع الكهربائي الحرجة، وأنظمة المولدات، وأنظمة UPS، وأنظمة المياه المبردة، وأنظمة التبريد والبنية التحتية المرتبطة.
- خبرة لا تقل عن 5 سنوات في مراجعة أو تطوير إجراءات تشغيلية للمرافق الحرجة المعقدة.
- خبرة في تقييم الإجراءات التشغيلية للامتثال للوایات السلامة ومتطلبات العميل والمعايير الدولية.
- خبرة في دعم المرافق الحيوية في المملكة العربية السعودية أو المنطقة الأوسع في الشرق الأوسط.
- شهادات مهنية ذات صلة مثل CSP، ASP، CHST، NEBOSH International General Certificate أو Diploma، OSHA 30-Hour Construction أو General Industry، NFPA 70E، Certified Energy Isolation Professional، First Aid، CPR، أو AED.
- خبرة في دعم حوكمة الإجراءات واستعداد التدقيق والجاهزية التشغيلية وورش السلامة أو برامج التحسين المستمر عبر مرافق متعددة.

We are looking for a driven and capable Safety Engineer to support mission-critical data center projects in KSA. This role will conduct technical and safety reviews of Standard Operating Procedures, Emergency Operating Procedures, and Methods of Procedure to ensure safe execution of operational activities across critical facility environments. The ideal candidate has strong construction or industrial safety experience, direct exposure to mission-critical facilities or complex industrial operations, and the ability to evaluate procedures for hazards, risk controls, regulatory compliance, and operational reliability. This is a hands-on, project-facing role focused on procedure review, hazard identification, operational risk assessment, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement of safety documentation. The role requires strong technical review skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Commissioning, and EHS teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform detailed technical and safety reviews of SOPs, MOPs, and EOPs for mission-critical data center facilities.
- Verify procedures accurately reflect current as-built conditions, equipment configurations, operating sequences, and facility requirements.
- Ensure procedures are technically accurate, complete, properly controlled, and free of conflicting, outdated, redundant, or ambiguous instructions.
- Evaluate procedures for personnel hazards, operational risks, safety precautions, required controls, and potential impact on facility uptime.
- Perform formal risk assessments and hazard analyses for planned maintenance, equipment shutdowns, electrical switching, generator operations, UPS maintenance, mechanical system maintenance, cooling system operations, utility transfers, and emergency response activities.
- Verify compliance with applicable Saudi Arabian occupational safety regulations, client requirements, relevant NFPA guidance, OSHA principles where contractually required, and accepted international safety best practices.
- Review implementation of LOTO, electrical safe work practices, arc flash hazard controls, PPE requirements, energized electrical work permits, confined space entry, hot work, working at heights, permit-to-work systems, and isolation verification requirements.
- Confirm that required PPE, prerequisites, contingency steps, rollback steps, and safety controls are clearly identified before procedure execution.
- Validate equipment identification numbers, breaker numbers, valve designations, system references, one-line diagrams, P&IDs, equipment schedules, and as-built documentation.
- Participate in technical review meetings, safety workshops, and procedure validation discussions.
- Provide clear recommendations to improve procedure quality, consistency, safety, and operational reliability.
- Support standardized procedure formats, procedure governance, periodic review programs, corrective actions, and continuous improvement across multiple facilities.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Safety Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in construction safety, industrial safety, operational safety, commissioning, facility operations, or a related safety function.
- Minimum 5 years of direct experience in mission-critical facilities, industrial operations, power generation, data centers, commissioning, or facility operations.
- Demonstrated experience reviewing, developing, or approving SOPs, MOPs, and EOPs for critical facilities or complex operational environments.
- Experience performing operational risk assessments, hazard analyses, and procedure-based safety reviews.
- Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems commonly found in data centers or comparable critical facilities.
- Knowledge of LOTO, permit-to-work systems, electrical switching procedures, isolation verification, energized electrical work, PPE requirements, and operational risk management.
- Ability to verify procedures against current drawings, one-line diagrams, P&IDs, equipment schedules, as-built documentation, and technical records.
- Strong understanding of Saudi Arabian safety regulations, client safety requirements, relevant NFPA guidance, OSHA principles where applicable, and international safety best practices.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to identify technical, procedural, regulatory, and safety deficiencies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, documentation, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Commissioning, EHS, contractor, consultant, and client stakeholder teams.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and reliable data center operations.
Preferred qualifications:
- Direct experience supporting data center operations, mission-critical facilities, commissioning, quality management, or facility operations and maintenance.
- Experience with critical electrical distribution systems, generator systems, UPS systems, chilled water systems, cooling systems, and related infrastructure.
- Minimum 5 years of experience reviewing or developing operational procedures for complex critical facilities.
- Experience evaluating operational procedures for compliance with safety regulations, client requirements, and international standards.
