Job Purpose
The HSE Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring health and safety compliance during the construction phase of projects. This includes implementing and monitoring health and safety management plans, conducting inspections and audits, compliance checks and assessing project adherence to relevant regulations and standards. This role requires a proactive and hands-on approach to implementing and monitoring health and safety Management Plans and associated procedures and conducting audits and inspections, and ensuring compliance with regulatory, corporate, and lenders' standards. This position will also serve as a key coordination point for internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure all H&S requirements are integrated into project activities. The HSE Supervisor will work closely with construction teams, contractors, and other stakeholders to identify and mitigate health and safety risks, ensuring that construction activities are carried out in a sustainable and responsible manner.
Key Accountabilities
Implement and monitor the Construction HSSE Management manual Provide field support to Project Management and Construction Supervision on HSSE matters Advise Project and site personnel of the requirements of legislation, guidelines, standards and risk assessments relevant to the workplace Ensure the requirements of Project HSSE Plan are consistently and comprehensively deployed on site Coordinate the workplace inspection program and assist with regular internal HSSE audits of the system and/ or associated processes, procedures and work practices Lead and assist in the development, implementation/delivery and revision of the HSSE induction and training programs Lead and assist in the identification, assessment and development of control mechanisms for hazards in the workplace Assist in the investigation and reporting of incidents on site as required Coordinate the collection, recording and analysis of HSSE data Ensure that the requirements of all PTW system/procedures are understood and implemented Providing information to Construction Supervision, promoting HSSE issues/lessons learned etc., participate in Toolbox talks and related site activities

Implement approved departmental policies, processes, manuals and procedures, and ensure employee adherence so that work is carried out to the required standard.
Continual Improvement
Manage and motivate the team to ensure they contribute to, and participate in, the identification and implementation of change initiatives, programmers, and projects in line with the organization’s standards.
Related Assignments –
Perform other related duties or assignments as directed by line manager.
Qualification, Experiences, & Skills:
Minimum Qualifications:
Technical degree Nebosh Diploma or Equivalent IOSH or equivalent membership ISO-45001:2018 Lead Auditor Course (preferable)
Minimum Experience:
Proven 3-5 years of experience in health and safety, with a focusoil & gas, power plant and construction and commissioning projects. Preferred to have experience in on CCGT projects. Strong understanding of international and local environmental and social regulations andstandards. Experience in conducting audits, developing HSMS, and managing environmentalcompliance.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and standardsexperience in conducting audits and inspectionsexcellent communication and interpersonal skillsability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
