Responsibilities
Prepare and review electrical engineering deliverables, including Single Line Diagrams, load lists, cable sizing calculations, layout drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications for BESS, and PSS skid systems. Support design and review of LV/MV power distribution systems, BESS interfaces, PSS skids (including auxiliary DB’s, HVAC,FACP), MCCs, Transformer, UPS, electrical panels, grounding, and earthing systems. Support the electrical integration of Battery Energy Storage Systems with grid connection. Ensure all deliverables comply with SAES, SAMSS, IEC, IEEE, NEC, and other applicable client and industry standards. Review vendor and OEM documents for BESS, Electrical Equipment’s and PSS equipment’s, respond to technical clarifications, and ensure full compliance with project specifications. Provide engineering support during Tender, FAT and SAT, respond to site technical queries, and assist in resolving issues during construction, installation, testing, and commissioning phases.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university. Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in electrical design and project support (industrial, oil & gas, or infrastructure preferred). Technical specifications for BESS, and PSS skid systems. Strong experience in LV/MV systems and electrical calculations. Experience in vendor document review and technical evaluations. Exposure to construction and commissioning support. Proficiency in engineering software such as ETAP, Auto CAD, EPLAN, or equivalent. Strong analytical and communication skills.
