Job description

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Inspect incoming raw and packaging materials to ensure they comply with the required specifications.
2. Perform sampling during in-process production stages to ensure raw material consumption is consistent with specified requirements.
3. Verify laboratory test results for finished products and ensure they meet customer specifications.
4. Conduct visual inspections of finished products before making the final release decision.
5. Coordinate with Production, Planning, and Stores regarding quality deviations by issuing NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), obtaining feedback from the relevant departments, and classifying finished products as accepted or rejected.
6. Inform the Production Shift Leader of laboratory test results.
7. Report products requiring further evaluation to the Quality Manager.
8. Prepare and submit daily laboratory test reports with the required charts.
9. Archive product samples for future reference.
10. Perform any other duties assigned by management

Education & Skills Required:

1. Diploma in Laboratory Technology (Chemical or Industrial) preferred.
2. 3 years of experience in paper mills as a Quality Control Technician.
3. Intermediate level of English.
4. Intermediate computer skills.
5. Knowledge of ERP systems is preferred.
6. Good communication skills.
