Title: Program Senior Director Department: Strategy Management Location: Riyadh
Core Responsibilities:
Develops and implements strategic plans in line with the division’s objectives. Supports the development of the workforce plan for the division by providing inputs on own department’s workforce forecasts. Supports the operating framework for the department, provides guidance and support, ensures implementation and review of work processes in order to achieve high performance standards and continuous improvement. Supports the annual budget for the department and reporting sections in conjunction with the division’s budget and secures subsequent approvals, tracks expenditure and ensures adherence to the budget. Supports SAB’s entities and subsidiaries as required by providing strategic advisory inputs and/or serving in formal roles and memberships to achieve overall business objectives, where applicable. Develops a continuous talent pipeline for key roles in the department and provides mentoring for high potential talent in the team. Monitors and enables the achievement of goals and key performance indicators for direct reports and ensures effective implementation of the performance management process in the department. Develops talent within the department by providing guidance, ongoing feedback, coaching and development opportunities to individuals to enable achievement of the defined goals. Coordinate the activities of the team to ensure that all work is carried out efficiently, in line with the annual business plans, policies and procedures. Governs implementation of risk-related policies and processes (operational, regulatory, financial, informational, reputational and audit risks) within the department, ensuring that that these meet regulatory and internal control requirements. Reviews implementation of the internal control systems in line with relevant operating procedures and regulatory requirements and takes corrective action based on audit findings. Demonstrate expected behaviours in line with SAB values and the Risk Culture Framework through day-to-day activities, to drive robust risk-based decision making. Lead the delivery and implementation of specific high-visibility strategic (priority / major) programs / projects as designated by management. Ensure designated program(s) have clear plan, scope, budget, resources and defined, robust governance. Manage / oversee all governance (STCs / WGs) for specific program / project. Escalate to Project Sponsor and Head of E-PMO any key issues / decisions required. Prepare / review of all reporting / updates for specific program / project. Pro-actively drive program / project delivery to achieve approved plans / timelines. Undertake specific program / project tasks to support overall delivery and implementation. Oversee main IT execution phases for the project, including testing / pilot / launch. Manage / oversee all non-IT activities for project including change-management, communications and training. Obtain buy-in and influence bank-wide stakeholders on key programme plans, including requirements, quality assurance, budget, schedule, scope, risk mitigation, and contingency plans to secure commitment and alignment.•Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and communication to ensure transparency and coordinated execution across SAB for specific programs / projects. Manage expectations and resolve conflicts among stakeholders to maintain programme momentum and satisfaction. Track approved budgets vs. actuals vs. forecast. Flag scope creep and unapproved budget pressure. Maintain benefits register and realization milestones
Qualifications and Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Statistics, or related field required Around 13 years of experience with preferred 6 years in a relevant senior role.
