Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of chiller technicians, ensuring efficient and safe execution of maintenance and repair tasks.
- Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical issues in centrifugal chillers, developing and implementing effective solutions.
- Oversee planned maintenance schedules, proactively identifying and addressing potential equipment failures to minimize downtime.
- Manage spare parts inventory and procurement, ensuring critical components are readily available for urgent repairs.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or an associate's degree in HVAC or a related field is highly preferred.
- Hold relevant certifications such as EPA Section 608 Universal, and potentially others like HVAC Excellence or specific manufacturer training.
- Demonstrate a minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience specifically with centrifugal chiller systems.
- Exhibit a strong understanding of refrigeration cycles, thermodynamics, and electrical control systems.
