Job Purpose:
To lead the development and delivery of business intelligence, data analytics, and reporting capabilities, enabling data-driven decision-making, improving performance visibility, and supporting strategic and operational objectives.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Strategic Responsibilities Define and implement the organization’s business intelligence and data analytics roadmap. Align BI and analytics initiatives with corporate strategy and performance management needs. Promote a data-driven culture and support fact-based decision-making across the organization. Operational Responsibilities Develop and maintain enterprise dashboards, scorecards, and reporting tools. Analyze data trends to generate actionable insights for business and executive teams. Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data used in reporting and analysis. Manage data extraction, transformation, and visualization processes. Collaborate with IT and business units to improve data availability and system integration. Support performance management processes through KPI tracking and reporting. Deliver ad-hoc analysis and reports based on business requirements. Establish data governance practices, standards, and data quality controls. Leadership Responsibilities Lead and develop a team of BI analysts and data specialists. Build analytics capabilities and technical expertise within the team. Provide guidance to stakeholders on data interpretation and usage. Foster collaboration across departments to ensure alignment on data and reporting needs.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
Education requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Statistics, or related field. Master’s degree preferred. Certification Requirements Professional certifications in Data Analytics or Business Intelligence are preferred. Experience Minimum 8 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or reporting. Including 2 years in a leadership role. Experience in dashboard development, data visualization, and analytics tools. Experience in aviation, infrastructure, or service-oriented industries is preferred. Languages Fluent in Arabic Proficiency in English Working Conditions Office-based role with extensive cross-functional engagement Participation in executive meetings, strategy workshops, and performance reviews Technical Skills Business Intelligence tools Data analysis and visualization SQL, Excel, and data modeling Data warehousing and ETL processes KPI design and performance reporting
