Role Overview
We are looking for a Lead Secondary Design Engineer to act as the technical authority for HV substation protection, control, SCADA, and LV auxiliary systems. The role requires strong technical expertise, leadership capability, and experience delivering secondary design for complex HV/EHV substations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead protection & control system design for 33k V–765k V substations Develop SLDs, PLDs, MOLD, wiring & logic diagrams Perform relay settings & protection coordination studies Ensure compliance with IEC / IEEE / SEC standards Manage design schedules & QA/QC reviews Supervise and mentor design engineers Support procurement with technical specs & BOM preparation Conduct system studies using ETAP / DIgSILENT / ASPEN / CAPE
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering8–12+ years in HV/EHV secondary design Proficiency in Auto CAD / Micro Station Strong knowledge of IEC 61850 & protection schemes Experience in CT/VT sizing, battery sizing & relay configuration
