Department OverviewAs part of the Sales Engineering Department, the Sales Engineer works closely with the Sales Team to design, position, and deliver Motorola Solutions and Avigilon-based solutions. The role leads the technical aspects of the sales cycle, supporting solution development, validation, and presentation.
The Sales Engineer ensures customer requirements are met during needs analysis, delivers technical demonstrations, positions Avigilon solutions against competitors, and designs systems that align with technical and budgetary needs. During deployment, the role provides on-site integration, troubleshooting, and training support, while collaborating with technical support teams post-sale to ensure high customer satisfaction.

Within the Pre-Sales Solutions Engineering team, the role of a Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer involves a collaborative partnership with the Sales Division to foster the expansion and success of Motorola Solutions’ ventures.

Basic Requirements

Pre-Sales Prowess: Proven experience in a Pre-Sales Solutions Engineering role within a technology company.
Security Savvy: A solid grasp of access control and video surveillance markets and solutions.
Tech Passion: Self-motivated, customer-focused, and deeply passionate about technology.
Team Player (with Solo Superpowers): You can rock it independently but thrive in a collaborative team environment.
Master in Communication: Native English speaker with stellar verbal and written communication skills, plus top-notch presentation abilities.
Problem Solver: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, ready to tackle any challenge, with advanced knowledge of networking principles and communications.
Hardware and Software Hero: Proficient in security systems design, implementation, and maintenance (video surveillance, access control). Experienced with system integrations and enterprise-grade computer hardware configuration and troubleshooting.
Ready to Roll: A driving license is a must. Depending on the hiring location, our company car policy may offer a car allowance or a company car benefit.

Security industry experience or certifications in enterprise security, on-prem and cloud-hosted video and access control solutions.
Cloud, Microsoft, Cisco, or other relevant technical certifications.
