Job Summary
The Installation & Maintenance Manager is responsible for supervising, planning, and managing all activities and processes within the Installation & Maintenance Services section to ensure that the entire activities are.
Responsibilities & Duties:
1- Equipment Installations Quality Assurance:
• Ensure all technical services activities are aligned with company's policies, procedures and standards
• Develop, evaluate and review technical services procedures and standards and communicate any updates or enhancements of the same.
• Prepare and submit equipment inspection schedules to technicians / coordinators at the company and monitor progress.
• Supervise and monitor the regular inspection of company's stores equipment, utilities and facilities, in addition to reviewing all equipment warranties terms and conditions
• Supervise and monitor the overall store equipment performance and report any deviations to the Director of Equipment.
• Ensure that the Corporation’s directives and objectives are constantly adhered to in the planning and execution of all Technical Services activities.
2- Technical Services Operational Management:
• Monitor the cost and effectiveness of activities to optimize resources, prioritize spending, and achieve timeliness, reliability and customer satisfaction standards.
• Manage prioritize and implement service activities to fulfil maintenance contracts and service level agreements.
• Manage service providers through coordinators and ensure response times are met, and down times are reduced.
• Conduct periodic evaluation of service providers and provide positive and corrective feedback to improve standards of service
• Supervise, plan and manage all the activities and processes within the Equipment Technical Services Division including installation, commissioning, maintenance and consumable spare parts management
• Review and approve in coordination with the Director Equipment maintenance work orders performed by service providers, in addition to approving technicians’ maintenance work orders related to consumable spare parts.
3- People Management:
• Select, lead, direct, evaluate and develop a team of engineers and technicians to ensure that installations are completed on time and according to customers and company's standard requirements
• Provide clear direction, prioritize tasks, assign and delegate responsibility and monitor the workflow of coordinators
• Plan, manage and review individual performance of coordinators and provide them with regular feedback, development and training opportunities to help them develop and improve their skills.
Requirements:- 6 - 8 years of experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
