On behalf of our client, we are looking for an Electrical Engineer.
Job Summary:

Responsible for overseeing and managing
electrical engineering projects, providing technical expertise, guidance, and
mentorship to junior engineers and project teams. leading the design, development, and
implementation of complex electrical systems for various projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Design electrical systems for
    construction projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and
    regulations.
  • Collaborate with architects,
    structural engineers, and other team members to integrate electrical systems
    seamlessly into overall project plans.
  • ​Conduct site visits to inspect
    electrical installations, troubleshoot issues, and ensure quality control.
  • Prepare and review technical
    drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for electrical components.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors
    and vendors to procure materials and equipment required for electrical
    installations.
  • Participate in project meetings,
    providing technical expertise and guidance on electrical aspects of the
    project.
  • Oversee the installation, testing, and
    commissioning of electrical systems, ensuring they meet project requirements
    and safety standards.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 7 - 10 years experience in electrical engineering within the construction industry, with a focus on hospital or hotel projects preferred.
  • Background in contracting will be highly advantageous.
  • Proficiency in electrical design software and tools.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
