Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Equipment Lead for our Saudi Arabia site to oversee the maintenance and reliability of production equipment and site utilities. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Quality, EHS, and Engineering, ensuring production runs safely, efficiently, and on time.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Lead day-to-day maintenance and reliability activities for production equipment and site utilities to ensure high equipment availability.
  • Manage, train, and develop a team of maintenance technicians while promoting safe work practices and performance feedback.
  • Plan and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance using the CMMS, ensuring timely completion of work orders.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce breakdowns, lower repair times, and improve equipment effectiveness.
  • Manage vendor relationships, spare parts inventories, and support capital projects from planning through handover.
  • Ensure compliance with quality, regulatory, and EHS requirements and support incident investigations and risk assessments.

Basic Qualifications:
We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications:



  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or similar engineering discipline, or equivalent technical diploma with relevant experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance, utilities, or facilities within a regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Proven leadership experience in managing or supervising maintenance teams, with strong coaching and people development abilities.
  • Practical knowledge of utility systems such as boilers, steam distribution, HVAC, chillers, compressed air, water systems, and associated controls.
  • Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for planning and scheduling maintenance.
  • Solid understanding of EHS and quality requirements in a regulated environment, with a strong commitment to safe work practices.

Preferred Qualifications:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be an advantage:



  • Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience in secondary manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or other cGMP-regulated sites.
  • Knowledge of reliability engineering, OEE analysis, TPM, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience managing maintenance budgets, spare parts optimization, and CAPEX planning.
  • Familiarity with automation, PLCs, vision systems, industrial networks, and OT cyber security basics.
  • Certifications or statutory licenses relevant to utilities operations (e.g., boiler operator or refrigeration certification).

Work Arrangements:
This is an on-site role based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. You will be present at the site to manage daily operations and maintenance activities.
