We are seeking a highly experienced Internal Audit Manager to lead and manage the execution of the annual internal audit plan. This role is critical in strengthening governance, risk management, and internal control frameworks across the organization. The successful candidate will work closely with the Chief Audit Executive (CAE) and Internal Audit Director, and will lead, mentor, and supervise internal audit teams.
Key Responsibilities Lead and deliver assigned audits from the annual internal audit plan within approved timelines and budget Ensure timely implementation and monthly reporting of Audit & Risk Committee (ARC) decisions Review and approve audit programs to ensure quality, relevance, and compliance with standards Oversee audit cycle time, resource utilization, and budget performance Maintain ≥90% compliance with internal audit standards and lead periodic internal quality assurance reviews Present audit reports, findings, and recommendations to senior management and the CAEDrive continuous improvement of the internal audit function Achieve annual CPE requirements and conduct knowledge-sharing and training sessions Maintain strong stakeholder relationships and achieve high client satisfaction ratings
Key Requirements Minimum 10 years of audit experience, preferably within construction or project-based industries Strong expertise in internal controls, risk management, and risk-based audit methodologies Proven experience managing and leading audit teams Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Professional certification such as CIA, CISA, CFE, CRMA, CPA/SOCPA or equivalent
Technical & Professional Skills Strong knowledge of risk assessment frameworks and audit planning Experience in data analytics-driven audits and IT audit techniques Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills Strong project management, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities Proven capability in process mapping, control identification, and assessment Excellent report writing and presentation skills
