About the Role
We are hiring an experienced Associate Director / Director for a leading consulting firm in Riyadh. The ideal candidate should bring strong expertise in Insurance portfolio management, Financial Services consulting, and client account leadership within the GCC region.
Key Responsibilities Client & Relationship Management
- Build, manage, and grow senior-level client relationships across Insurance, Payments & FinTech, and Capital Markets.
- Ensure high client satisfaction, strong retention, and YoY portfolio growth.
- Manage strategic account portfolios and drive cross-sell/upsell opportunities.
Project Delivery & Engagement Leadership
- Oversee end-to-end delivery of engagements, ensuring adherence to scope, timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Deliver measurable client impact—efficiency improvements, cost reduction, productivity gains, and revenue uplift.
- Maintain engagement economics including billing, receivables, and team utilization.
Thought Leadership & Internal Contributions
- Publish thought-leadership articles, whitepapers, and industry PoVs.
- Build internal intellectual capital through reusable frameworks, methodologies, and accelerators.
- Strengthen overall brand presence in the market.
Team Leadership & Operations
- Build, lead, and mentor consulting teams.
- Review deliverables and ensure compliance with client expectations and contractual obligations.
- Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and central teams to meet internal governance needs.
Strategic Problem-Solving
- Solve complex client challenges using structured problem-solving approaches.
- Develop differentiated offerings in financial services strategy, regulatory change, digital transformation, and risk.
Education & Professional Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Risk Management, or related discipline.
- Preferred certifications: CA, CFA, CPA, CIA, MBA, etc.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of Internal Audit, Risk methodologies, and the FS regulatory landscape.
- Expertise across Asset Management, Insurance, Banking, and Investments.
- Solid understanding of Corporate Governance, SOX, COSO, Risk & Controls.
- Excellent analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Arabic-speaking candidates preferred.
Experience Requirements
- 10–12+ years in the Financial Services industry with a heavy focus on Insurance and Asset Management.
- Mandatory experience in a consulting environment (Big 4 or leading consulting firms preferred).
- GCC market experience is highly desirable.
